NATO

"The Parties undertake, as set forth in the
Charter of the United Nations, to settle any international dispute in which
they may be involved by peaceful means in such a manner that international
peace and security and justice are not endangered, and to refrain in their
international relations from the threat or use of force in any manner
inconsistent with the purposes of the United Nations."
The Warsaw
Pact Charter: 1955
From Article IV: "In accordance with the
principles of the Charter of the United Nations Organisation, the Security
Council shall be advised of the measures taken on the basis of the present
article." The Warsaw Pact was allegedly created by Communist Eastern
Bloc European nations to counter the NATO Treaty. BOTH treaties were created
under the auspices of the UN!

signatories of Charter 99, including thus far 60 NGOs demand of the
UN... "We call on you, therefore, to start the new century by initiating
the process of democratic global governance following fundamental
principles:"

Report: Sovereignty Can Be Forfeited on Humanitarian
Grounds
"... Those steps include promotion
of 'an international consensus about the point at which a state forfeits
its sovereignty', and removal of veto power in the Security Council in
exceptional circumstances 'so that the support of a majority of the great
powers is all that is required to permit states to engage in humanitarian
war'."

forces and armaments of all kinds under international agreement
including the necessary steps taken under such an agreement to establish
an effective system of international control, or to create and strengthen
international organizations for the maintenance of peace."

Summit Draws Top Spiritual Leaders
The UN is not an official sponsor
of the event, largely being underwritten by Ted Turner's UN Foundation.
Turner, who once said that "Christianity is for losers," will give the keynote
address.
Who
Owns the Environmental Movement?
"... it is clear that those at the top of the
environmentalist movement are witting in their advocacy of policies that
ultimately kill people. We know this is the case because many of the
environmentalist policy-makers say so publicly. ... The fact is that the
top ozone depletion propagandists at the World Wildlife Fund, the Club of
Rome, the Population Crisis Committee/Draper Fund, and other elite bodies
want it to kill people.
UN Labels on
US Parks
"U.N. designations such as "World Heritage Site"
and "Biosphere Reserve" are being placed on dozens of U.S parks and monuments,
including Independence Hall, the Statue of Liberty and Yellowstone National
Park. At Mt. Mitchell State Park in North Carolina, a sign leading into the
park designated it as a U.N. Biosphere Reserve. When citizens protested,
the words "United Nations" were taken off the sign and "international" was
put in its place...."

Trafficking Women for Sex?
Kathryn Bolkovac is an American policewoman
who was hired for a UN post aimed at cracking down on sexual abuse and forced
prostitution in Bosnia. When she reported that UN officers were involved
in the trafficking, she was fired. Bolkovac is suing.
