On Thursday, December 4th, Sweet Liberty was taken off of satellite and the internet and subsequently off of shortwave by a technical problem. It is suspected by officials at First Amendment Radio Network, that there may have been an interruption in service of the network's high-speed DSL transfer lines, which carry programming to the satellite uplink center, as well as to the internet directly. All streams failed.
The interruption began approximately 40 minutes into the show, and lasted about 15 minutes until the show's conclusion.
The cause of the outage is not known at this hour, but is being investigated by the network.
