I am pleased to announce that the Random Liberty Quote has been restored on the main page. There is no logical reason why it quit working in the first place, and to fix it I merely re-entered the same SSI tag that it originally had on the page.
Therefore, I cannot guarantee that it will not malfuction again in the future. If anyone has trouble with the site's home page fully loading, please e-mail me at once.
The quote is a nice feature, but it isn't worth not having the page loading correctly.
I have received notification from the Nicholas at the network that the server at First Amendment Radio has been knocked down. Aaron says it was due to their service provider being hit with a Denial of Service attack.
Therefore, if you want to listen live, there is an alternative URL you must follow.
Sweetliberty and Amerikan Expose can be heard at:
http://64.246.52.22:8000/listen.plsNote: I have now updated the "LISTEN LIVE" to point to the new IP address. Therefore, if you tried to listen and weren't able to do so, it should work now.
Due to a variety of technical problems some at the network, some involving my ISP, and some pertaining to my phone lines I have not been able to successfully upload the files to the server.
To all of those who are interested, we have the files. They will be posted as soon as we can iron out the troubles.
Thanks for your patience.
If you get a message with the subject of "E-mail technical support message" from the sweetliberty.org team, delete it! Do NOT open any attachments as they are more than likely a trojan virus.
The message was originated on the 13th of March and reads:
Hello user of Sweetliberty.org e-mail server,
Some of our clients complained about the spam (negative e-mail content)
outgoing from your e-mail account. Probably, you have been infected by
a proxy-relay trojan server. In order to keep your computer safe,
follow the instructions.
Advanced details can be found in attached file.
Have a good day,
The Sweetliberty.org team http://www.sweetliberty.org
The message then presents a file attachment upon which you can click to purportedly get instructions on how to get rid of a virus that you might have. You won't be infected unless you click on the attachment.
WARNING - IF YOU RECEIVE SUCH AN E-MAIL MESSAGE, IT DID NOT COME FROM US. DO NOT OPEN THE ATTACHMENT IN THE MESSAGE. YOUR COMPUTER WILL LIKELY BE INFECTED WITH A TROJAN HORSE VIRUS IF YOU DO. DELETE THE E-MAIL MESSAGE IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT OPENING THE ATTACHMENT!
The message is signed the SweetLiberty.org "team". There is no technical "team" for Sweet Liberty. I am it. And this e-mail did not come from me, so I strongly urge anyone receiving it to delete it immediately WITHOUT opening the attachment.
You should also be mindful that anyone can type in any e-mail address to make it appear that mail has actually come from our addresses. Therefore, if you are not expecting a file attachment from either Jackie Patru or myself, then play it safe and don't open it. If you have any question about whether a message or file attachment actually came from one of us, e-mail us and ask BEFORE you open the file.

The web server is back up and running. All audio should now be fuctioning again.
To anyone who is trying to listen to audio files:
The darrenweeks.net web server where many of the audio files are hosted is undergoing some maintenance at this hour. The primary drive is being replaced and the server is therefore currently offline. As a result, a lot of the files in the audio section of Sweet Liberty will not be functioning as of this writing. I expect the server to be back online soon and apologize for the inconvenience.
We have tipster Scott to thank for the notification that the link to Anita Hogue's research had gone dead on our
links page. The dead link has been removed.
If anyone knows if Anita has a new URL that we can post, let us know.
For some reason, the Random Liberty Quote has begun to interfere with the Home Page loading properly. This is something that has started happening apparently all on its own, as I have not touched the Home page for a while and it has been loading fine.
After a good while of trying different things, I finally discovered the cause.
Therefore, until I can figure out what the problem is, I have disabled it.
This is very frustrating, as I have encountered the same problem with SSI interfering with page loads on my other website which is hosted at the same company. I am wondering if this is some issue that pertains to the new hosting company because we never had this problem with the old company.
At any rate, when I get time, I'm going to play with it and see if I can get it fixed. Until then, you'll not have your quote. :(
