Army to recall former military members

Has the U.S. Government/military claimed ownership of retired and discharged soldiers? Is there a hook in some clause of the "contract" they sign when they enter the military that they have a life-long obligation to serve? If I were a retired or discharged military veteran I'd be running for cover right about now. They're running out of cannon fodder, folks. Many other news items point to the same problem.

This was no obscure news announcement in a small-town newspaper. It was blatantly proclaimed by the Communist News Network (CNN). Not having heard the announcement personally I can imagine the announcer -- maybe the so-slick Aaron Brown -- nonchalantly breaking the news, followed by the baseball scores. And the deaf and blinded (by Media-Mind Control) masses pay more attention to the scores. In the Associated Press article below we read that

"The Army is preparing to notify about 5,600 retired and discharged soldiers who are not members of the National Guard or Reserve that they will be involuntarily recalled to active duty for possible service in Iraq or Afghanistan. . . "

. . . or Syria, or Iran, or wherever in hell the controllers of the U.S. Government, Inc./U.S. Military decide to send them!

Do bear in mind that this so-called "War" on Iraq was never declared as war by Congress. The U.S. Constitution, in Article 1, Section 8, Clause 11 states that:

"The Congress shall have the Power: To declare War. . . " 

Because most Americans have not read the Constitution; because schools and colleges have firmly implanted the 'belief' in the minds of our children; because the Zionist-controlled media repeats and repeats the statement that "the President is Commander in Chief of the military", the masses today accept the totalitarian concept that ONE individual -- the President of the U.S. -- has the power to declare war, sending U.S. Soldiers around the world to "kill and die, in defense of the world order".

In fact, the Constitution, in Article II, Section 2, Clause 1, states that:

"The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States;. . . "

". . . called into the actual service of the United States. That would be a declaration of war by the U.S. Congress. Excerpting from the book, Jewish Persecution:

     "Prior to WWII - before the U.S. joined the United Nations Organization - it was clearly understood by Americans and foreign governments alike that only the U.S. Congress could declare war. This understanding was expressed in a speech by British Prime Minister Winston Churchill on December 8, 1941, as Britain was declaring war on Japan:

'The President told me that he would this morning send a message to Congress, which of course as you all know is the instrument, the constitutional instrument, by which alone a United States declaration of war can be made. . . ' Voices of History 1941

    "In view of the extra-constitutional power assumed by U.S. presidents since World War II - all subsequent wars having been executed by presidential executive orders or 'directives' - one might reasonably conclude that the 'constitutional instrument' had been duly amended. In the case of war-making power that conclusion would be incorrect. So then, what happened? In Protocol No. 10 we read:

'In the near future we shall establish the responsibility of presidents.

'Independently of this we shall invest the president with the right of declaring a state of war.'

'We shall justify this last right on the ground that the president as chief of the whole army of the country must have it at his disposal, in case of need for the defense of the new republican constitution. . . '; Protocol No. 10

    "In two separate conversations - with Brian Merchant in 1994 and Bill Leary in 1996 - with the National Security Council, we were informed that: presidential executive orders are 'not law'; presidential executive orders do not 'become' law; and 'there is no legal or criminal penalty for failure to obey an executive order'.

    "Brian Merchant claimed that the president controls the military because he is 'Commander and Chief of the Army and Navy'. In response to the reminder that under the Constitution the president does not become Commander and Chief of the Army and Navy until 'called into the service of the United States' by a Congressional declaration of war, Merchant casually remarked:

'However, under International Law, PEACEKEEPING IS NOT DEFINED AS WAR'."

And so it is, as stated in George Orwell's book, 1984, "War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Intelligence." Unfortunately we are living Orwell today.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Army is preparing to notify about 5,600 retired and discharged soldiers who are not members of the National Guard or Reserve that they will be involuntarily recalled to active duty for possible service in Iraq or Afghanistan, Army officials said Tuesday.

It marks the first time the Army has called on the Individual Ready Reserve, as this category of reservists is known, in substantial numbers since the 1991 Gulf War.

The move reflects the continued shortage of troops available to Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld to fight the ongoing war on terrorism as well as Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Lt. Gen. Frank Hagenbeck, the Army's deputy chief of staff for personnel, said earlier this month of the Army's troop strength, "We are stretched but we have what we need."

Pentagon officials have echoed that statement explaining that while the military is reaching deep into its resources, war planners have long had contingency plans such as this for when troops are really needed.

Several hundred members of the ready reserve have volunteered for active-duty service since the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Those who are part of the involuntary call up are likely to be assigned to National Guard or Reserve units that have been mobilized for duty in Iraq or Afghanistan, according to Army officials. An announcement is planned for Wednesday.

Members of Congress were being notified of the decision Tuesday, the officials said.

Unlike members of the National Guard and Reserve, the individual reservists do not perform regularly scheduled training.

Any former enlisted soldier who did not serve at least eight years on active duty is in the Individual Ready Reserve pool, as are all officers who have not resigned their commission.

The Army has been reviewing its list of 118,000 eligible individual reservists for several weeks in search of qualified people in certain high-priority skill areas like civil affairs.
